Samsung Ads is Samsung’s global advertising platform, enabling brands to connect with audiences across all digital devices (connected TV, mobile, and web).
I joined the team responsible for developing a demand-side platform (DSP) generating several million dollars in monthly revenue, used at scale by international advertisers.
Role and responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer and later UI Architect, I played a key technical and cross-functional role within international teams distributed across Canada, the United States, India, and Korea.
My scope included:
- Designing and evolving large-scale front-end architectures
- Modernizing the technical stack and continuously improving project quality
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring multiple developers
- Collaborating closely with product, design, and platform teams
- Contributing to company-wide initiatives such as hiring, roadmap planning, and organizational improvements
